Investment Manager at Cradle Fund

Azizul Abdul Hamid joined Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd (Cradle) in February 2015 and is currently the Investment Manager of DEQ800, an equity investment product under Cradle which works on diversifying investment strategy for a maturing start-up ecosystem in Malaysia. Azizul actively works with the investment team for on-going monitoring & review (operational, financial performance & industry benchmarking) of investment. Prior to that, he actively monitored Cradle’s recipient company under a Cradle Investment programme called CIP500.

He has diverse experience in fund management, Finance and Accounting and Banking. He is actively working in developing early stages of business solution and business model to assist Cradle recipients pave their way to success.

Azizul graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam with a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) and is a member of Malaysia Institute of Accountant (MIA). Prior to joining Cradle, he started his career in banking, retail industry and then became an officer with the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI), where he was responsible for approximately 80 companies that received agricultural grants from Malaysia of Agriculture (MOE) under purview of Secretariat of Technofund.

With his diverse experience in funding and investment for 8 years, he believes in giving back by reaching out to aspiring entrepreneurs and help to achieve their goals.
