Professor Dr. Fauziah Abu Hasan holds a doctorate in international and development economics from Florida State University. She obtained her masters and undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University in statistics and economics. Before joining the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Development, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, she was working in Universiti Putra Malaysia in Serdang, Selangor, Malaysia. Her research interests include international and development economics and entrepreneurship. She started working as a lecturer in 1985 and has served the university in various capacities such as being the head of department, deputy dean, head of corporate planning, director of quality assurance and dean of faculty.

Dr. Siti Muhaza Sheikh Zainal is the Division Secretary of Policies and Inspectorate, Ministry of Housing and Local Government from the year 2017 to present.
She begins to serve the government in the year 1995, as Assistant Director of External Service Unit in Economy Planning Unit of Prime Minister’s Department. She is then attached to International Affairs Unit, Planning and Research, National Anti-Drugs Agency, Ministry of Home Affairs before being promoted to Director of National Anti-Drugs Agency, Sabah.
Prior to this, she was the Chief Assistant Secretary of Strategic and International Planning for Ministry of Rural and Regional Development. Dr Siti Muhaza had also served in several ministries namely; Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities. Her former position before promoted to MHLG was Deputy Director of In Services Strategic Development Cluster, Human Capital Management Division for Public Service Department of Malaysia.

Hazwan Razak is the Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC), a Government-linked entity entrusted to lead the implementation of Sarawak’s Digital Economy Strategy. His team focuses on building a robust ecosystem that supports local start-ups and entrepreneurs and providing employment opportunities in all corners of the state, via digital empowerment. He also currently leads several Sarawak STEM initiatives, is an MBOT Professional Technologist, and a Project Management Professional (PMP). He started his career with PETRONAS, serving in upstream offshore operations, before expanding his skillsets working in a multinational start-up and an education-focused social enterprise. As a member of the International Development Design Network (IDIN), he has carried out short-term development design projects in several developing communities globally. He was educated at Melbourne and Oxford in engineering, and loves all things tech.

He left Celcom ncik Sudarnoto Osman earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tohoku, Japan in Electronic Engineering and after graduating he started his career with Matsushita Air-Conditioning R&D Sdn. Bhd (Electrical and Electronics Development) in 1993.
His mobility career started in 1994 with Celcom Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. He was instrumental in expanding Celcom network and initiated the 2G network rollout throughout Sarawak. He was also appointed on ad-hoc basis as a consultant on several international Malaysia Sdn. Bhd in September 2000 to join Maxis Mobile Sdn. Bhd. and he embarked on Maxis network rollout in East Malaysia. He left as Regional Network Head at Maxis Broadband Sdn. Bhd. in March 2013.
He continued his career by venturing into telecommunication infrastructure business when he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at SACOFA Sdn. Bhd. (“SACOFA”) in April 2013. During his tenure at SACOFA, he expanded SACOFA’s business and network beyond Malaysia. He was also appointed in various capacity in other organisations such as PT SACOFA Indonesia, PT BINA Indonesia, DSTA Sdn. Bhd., Malaysian Access Forum Bhd., Persatuan Infrastruktur Telekomunikasi Malaysia, and Konsortium Rangkaian Serantau.
He was later appointed by the Sarawak Government to spearhead Sarawak digitalisation initiatives as Chief Executive Officer of Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation Berhad on 15th May 2020.
