The MYHackathon 2024 program is a national-level hackathon initiated by the Government of Malaysia to assist in the digitalization of government service delivery to the public. This program is an initiative under MYStartup, organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), and implemented by Cradle Fund Sdn. Bhd. (Cradle).

The MYHackathon program has now reached its third edition, following MYHackathon 2020 and MYHackathon 2022. The third edition, MYHackathon 2024, comes with the theme "National Hackathon for Malaysia MADANI."

MYHackathon 2024 emphasizes innovation in solving government service digitalization challenges. This collaborative and inclusive process begins with direct engagement with the problem statement owners, enabling MOSTI and Cradle to identify their most urgent issues and needs, ensuring that the solutions developed are relevant and timely.

MYHackathon 2024 will then present these problem statements to the startup ecosystem, the technology community, and academic members from public and private universities (IPTA and IPTS) throughout Malaysia, inviting them to collaboratively address each problem statement in the program.

Successful solutions will be named as one of the program winners and will receive a conditional grant worth RM250,000 from Cradle. This grant supports the further development of their solutions over the next 12 months to bring each problem statement's solution to the pilot deployment stage at the respective problem statement owner's site.

After a successful pilot deployment, there is a high potential for follow-on sales, providing significant benefits to both the winners and the problem statement owners.
